Terms and Conditions

This is our full-time, private residence on 11-acres in the oak-forested mountain between Bakersfield and Tehachapi in Central California.  

1.  This is a "leave no trace" property (https://int.org)

2.  Absolutely no wood-burning fires May through December due to extreme fire danger, with the exception of the wood-burning fire pit at the main house.  

3.  Pets allowed only upon prior host approval and must be leashed at all times.

4.  Smoking allowed upon prior host approval and must be in designated smoking areas only.

5.  This property is not a place for loud or raucous parties.  It is about enjoying the peace and quiet of nature and getting away from the busyness and noise of life.
